MANNERING PARK RURAL FIRE BRIGADE

The Brigade provides a service to the Community in attending to Bush Fires, House Fires, Search and Rescue, and can also can be asked to assist other emergency services.

We have 13 active members who go to fires and other incidents.

The Brigade has a 4wd large truck and a 4wd Land Cruiser utility.

We need additional new members, men and women, all age groups. Housewife's from their 20's and beyond are especially being sought after for day time availability.

Within the Brigade, there are a variety of interesting roles and functions.

New skills can be learnt that may even help in job seeking.

For example there are courses providing skills in; Radio Communication, Fire Fighting, Chain Saw, First Aid, Oxygen Resuscitation and many more practical skills. Multiple and varied courses are available and you have the option of selecting courses to attend. There may be some conditions applicable.

As a respected member of the Brigade you receive personal satisfaction for saving lives and property, as well as assisting the Community in times of need.
