MANNERING  PARK  SOCIAL  CLUB

Amongst all the interesting organisations here in Mannering Park , is our Mannering Park Social Club . It was formed in the early 70's to fulfill a need for isolated seniors living in the area . To offer them somewhere that they could socialise with others in the same situation . Although the group originally catered for the needs of the female residents , men with similar interests are encouraged to join us .

 Now it is a club where members meet each Wednesday , at the Community Hall in Dunvegan Street - from 9.15am until 2pm . Here we can play a very sociable game of Carpet Bowls or Darts , or just engage in friendly conversations . We go on some most interesting Coach Trips , have delicious special lunches three times a year , make great friends and have a wonderful , relaxing time !

Why don't you come along and join us . Just bring a packed lunch and $3 to cover Hall hire ( we'll supply tea / coffee and a biscuit for morning tea ) just follow the laughs and happy chatter !!
